Freedom church is a community of imperfect people on journey to get closer to God. Community means that we are all connected. We are all connected in this community called the human race. Therefore, God has put a real need inside of us to be in community, to live life in tandem with Him and with people. But for many people this need is not getting met in a positive way. God has designed a community that meets this need. He calls it Church. Imperfect people means that it is really cool to think how God made us. He made us very unique. And in our uniqueness we find that we have many faults; faults that need forgiveness, and faults that need to be corrected. We can rest in the fact that the grace of God is sufficient for us to be whom He has created us to be, faults and imperfections included.

We are all on a journey. Even if we call ourselves a follower of Christ, we cannot say that we have it all together. There is so much of God that we have not figured out. So much that we have not dived into. Yet, God wants us to jump into the depths of who He is. There is much in store for us as we journey together. Cool Huh?! When it all comes down to it, life is really just learning how to get close to God. The closer we get to Him, the more we will enjoy life.
